Hi, I’m Ruthie, an Early Childhood Behavioural and Education Consultant and Registered Teacher. With over 23 years' teaching experience (18 years as a Head Teacher), and 12 years as a Behavioural Specialist, I have ventured out to continue my passion for supporting tamariki to flourish in safe, inclusive environments by establishing RMF - ECE Behavioural and Education Consultants.

My work includes providing coaching and mentoring to promote and enhance teaching practice and environments to support inclusion, equitable opportunities, co-regulation, and social and emotional competencies. Tailored strategies are designed to meet the individual needs of our tamariki/children, kaiako/teachers and whānau/parents/caregivers.

RMF - ECE Behavioural and Education Consultants can support your team in many areas including coaching and mentoring kaiako/teachers in the areas of:

  • Positive behaviour guidance

  • Social/emotional regulation
